Woodworker Lien Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 491, s. 21
- Nature of Instrument: Certificate, issued by the registrar of the Supreme Court, stating the amount remaining due to a lienholder under an order of the court following the distribution of proceeds from the sale of logs or timber subject to the lien.
- Filed by or in Favour of: A person entitled to a lien under the Act for performing labour or services in connection with logs or timber in British Columbia, or that person’s assignee, in any court having jurisdiction against the person against whom the order was made.
- Effect of Registration: The certificate is entered as a judgment and execution may be issued on the certificate as in the case of other judgments in the court.
