PRACTICE

Court Order May Dispense with Strata Corporation Resolution

A resolution of the strata corporation must accompany the liquidator’s application to dispose of the property. However, under s. 285(a), the court may vary or dispense with any provisions under ss. 276 to 283. Thus, a resolution of the strata corporation is not required if the court has expressly dispensed with it.
