Land Title And Survey Authority Fees

In This Volume

This fee schedule for services provided by the LTSA is effective April 1, 2024. For the most up-to-date information, see ltsa.ca.

For transactions carried out in-person, fees are payable by Visa, MasterCard, debit card, money order or cheque. For transactions carried out by mail, fees are payable by cheque or money order. Please make cheques payable to: Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia. Please remit in Canadian funds.

As of April 1, 2014, all cheques for Property Transfer Tax (PTT) payment must be payable to the “Minister of Finance” rather than the LTSA. Cheques remain the only acceptable form of PTT payment accepted at Land Title Office service counters. The LTSA’s Land Title Offices accept manually filed PTT forms on behalf of the Ministry of Finance as a courtesy to LTSA customers.

Applications or plans submitted through the LTSA’s Electronic Filing System using the myLTSA Enterprise portal are subject to a service charge. For more information, please see the myLTSA fees pages. GST is payable where applicable. All registration fees are GST exempt. If the application includes a form signed using a Juricert electronic signature, it will also be subject to a Juricert fee (plus GST). These fees are deducted from the submitter’s myLTSA Enterprise account. For more information about Juricert, please contact Juricert Services or the Law Society of BC.

For submissions to the land title office multiple charges in the same electronic or hardcopy form are charged per application by separate nature of interest. For a cancellation of a charge a fee is not applied to a derivative charge such as a modification or priority agreement.
