Overview Of Hardcopy Forms

In This Volume

This chapter in the Manual reproduces hardcopy forms approved by the Director of Land Titles for use in filing and registering documents in the land title office. Electronic forms are reproduced in the Green Book and are available in Web Filing using a myLTSA Enterprise account and on the LTSA website at ltsa.ca.

Hardcopy forms are reproduced in the Manual for convenience only. As the forms may be modified from time to time, users are advised to obtain the latest versions of hardcopy forms for download and printing on the website at ltsa.ca. For updates to specific forms, see Hardcopy Land Title Forms, and Completion Instructions for Hardcopy Transfer Forms (DR 04-11) at ltsa.ca.

Electronic Submissions

The director has approved the use of the following electronic forms:

  • Electronic Transfer Forms
  • Forms A, B, C Charge and C Release
  • Form D Executions Continued Form E Schedule
  • Other Electronic Land Title Forms
  • Declaration
  • Form 17 Fee Simple; Form 17 Charge, Notation or Filing; and Form 17 Cancellation of Charge, Notation or Filing accompanied by the form of supporting document approved by the director and listed in the current Electronic Form 17 Help Guide
  • Strata Property Act Filing accompanied by the Strata Property Act form approved by the director as a supporting document and listed in the form’s drop-down menu
  • Survey Plan Certification
  • Application to Deposit Plan at Land Title Office
  • Miscellaneous Electronic Forms
  • Claim of Builders Lien
  • Surveyor Registration Form
  • Electronic Payment Authorization
  • Property Transfer Tax Form (including links to Help Guides authorized by the Ministry of Finance)
  • Local Government Filing Form
  • Public Official Plan
  • All Strata Property Act and Land Title Act plans

Completion instructions and requirements for electronic forms are set out in the

  • Green Book; and

Supporting documents that may be attached to the electronic Form 17 are listed in the Form 17 Help Guide, also under “E-filing User Guides and Publications” at ltsa.ca.

Hardcopy Submissions

Hardcopy submissions are accepted only under the exemptions set out in E-filing Directions at ltsa.ca under “Practice Info”, “E-filing User Guides and Publications” (and reproduced in chapter 69 (Director’s Directions) in this Manual), or on an exception basis as permitted by the registrar in accordance with those Directions.

For hardcopy submissions, the director has approved the use of Forms A to E, 8 to 15, 17 to 22, 25, 26, 29, 31 to 36, and 38 to 40, where permitted under the relevant Directions.
